Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: 11/20/2025

These Terms & Conditions outline the rules, expectations, and responsibilities for all services provided through this website, in person, or virtually. By booking a session, purchasing a service, or using this site, you agree to the following terms:

1. General Information

Calmer Together Canines provides dog training, behavior support, and educational services. All services are intended to support the dog-human relationship using compassionate, psychology-informed training methods. Results vary depending on individual dogs, consistency, environment, and owner participation

2. Not a Veterinary or Medical Service

Calmer Together Canines does not diagnose medical, behavioral, or psychological conditions. Clients should consult a licensed veterinarian for medical concerns and a certified behavior professional (CAAB, DACVB) for sever behavior beyond the scope of standard training.

3. Client Responsibilities

To ensure safety and effectiveness, clients agree to:

  • Provide truthful information about their dog's behavior, history, and health

  • Follow training instructions and safety guidelines

  • Practice training exercises between sessions

  • Ensure the dog is healthy and up to date on required vaccinations per state law

  • Use equipment responsibly and safely during all sessions

If at any time a dog poses a safety risk to that dog, people, other dogs, or the trainer, Calmer Together Canines reserves the right to stop or modify the session.

4. Payments & Booking Policies

  • Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise stated

  • Serviced may be rescheduled up to 24 hours in advance

  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a fee or loss of session credit.

  • No-shows are non-refundable

5. Refund Policy

Training is a collaborative process, and no trainer can ethically guarantee specific results. Because these sessions reserve trainer time and preparation, refunds are generally not provided after a session has been delivered.

However, if you experience an issue, please reach out so we can make it right.

6. Safety & Liability

Clients understand that:

  • Training may involve physical movement, treats, equipment, and environmental distractions

  • Participation is voluntary

  • Clients are responsible for the actions of their dog at all times.

Calmer Together Canines is not liable for injuries, damages, or losses caused by a client's dog at any time

7. Online Services & Virtual Training

Clients are responsible for:

  • Providing a safe and quiet training space

  • Ensuring the technology used (phone, laptop, etc.) is functional

Calmer Together Canines is not responsible for disruptions caused by internet failure, device issues, or environmental interruptions.
