Sadie was first dog and my first teacher. She taught me what it means to open your heart to a dog, the magic of the human-dog bond and how deeply they can change us just by being ours. Sadie unlocked the passion that became my life's purpose.

My sensitive soul. She taught me the power of supporting overwhelmed, sensitive, and reactive dogs through choice-based training and clear communication with patience, emotional safety and choice. Her big feelings helped me understand how behavior and emotion intertwine - and she's the reason I feel in love with behavioral work. Piper makes me a better trainer every single day.
